Job Summary
Manage inpatient rounding for 20–40 patients per shift alongside one nurse practitioner in an inpatient hospital setting. Provide STEMI management and handle cath lab overflow or unassigned procedures as needed. Maintain 24/7 beeper availability with a required 20-minute response time. Submit assignment details and time entry through an online portal. Work a 1-week-per-month schedule, preferably the last week of the month. This Charter member of NALTO assignment includes paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant.
Required Qualifications
- Charter member of NALTO
- STEMI management required
- 24/7 beeper call -- 20-minute response time required
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Inpatient rounding: 20 - 40 patients per shift
- Rounds alongside 1 NP per shift
- Cath lab overflow and unassigned procedures available
- Ongoing assignment
- 1 week per month -- preferably last week of the month
