Job Summary
Orthopedic surgeon needed for locum tenens assignment in Carlsbad, NM. Schedule of 7-14 days per month with 20-25 patients per day across clinic, operating room, and call settings. Arthroscopy and total joint replacement experience preferred. Facility provides full clinic staff and anesthesia support. Busy practice with potential for overtime; 7 on/7 off model available. Includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Assignment and time-entry details managed in an online portal. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with orthopedic surgery certification
- board certification in orthopedic surgery preferred
- LOCUMS tenens experience a plus
