Job Summary
Conduct general trauma surgery coverage in a dedicated trauma bay setting from Thursday through Sunday, ending Monday morning. Manage approximately 15% admission rate of trauma patients with sub-specialty backup support from general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and ENT. Submit assignment details and time entry via the online portal while adhering to a 24-hour call schedule from 7 am to 7 am across four shifts per month. This ongoing locum tenens opportunity includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses for physicians seeking flexible career planning in Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- General surgery and trauma surgery skills
- Charter member of NALTO
- Available for 24 hr. call -- 7 am to 7 am, 4 shifts per month
- Available Thursday through Sunday, ending Monday morning
- Available for ongoing coverage opportunity
- Available for Emergency department with two dedicated trauma bays
- Available for Sub-specialty backup includes general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and ENT
