Job Summary
Conduct outpatient psychiatry coverage with 10-12 follow-ups and 2-4 intakes daily, managing substance abuse prevention, individual and family therapy, and medication management for all ages. Complete EMR documentation in EXYM within 24-48 hours, prioritizing tech-savviness and prompt note completion. Provide 30 minutes of medication checks and 60-90 minute initial evaluations. Schedule includes two 9AM-5PM days per week (Tuesday through Thursday) with a preference for in-person coverage, though a hybrid option of 1-2 times monthly is available. This assignment supports a facility founded on occupational therapy principles, offering work readiness training and job placement services near Carson, California.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification Required: Negotiable
- EMR is EXYM
- Must work both days of the week between Tues, Wed, and Thursday
- Must be tech-savvy
- Must complete notes promptly (24-48 hrs. to complete notes)
- Must be available for in-person coverage
- Must be available for hybrid schedule (1-2 times per mo.)
- Must be able to handle 10-12 follow ups, 2-4 intakes
