Job Summary
Locum tenens Obstetrics Gynecology position in Lawrence, IN requiring management of high-risk OB, high-acuity labor and delivery, and supervision of residents. Responsibilities include 2-3 deliveries per day (mostly cesarean sections), rounding on 15-18 patients daily (up to 25 at peak), and ongoing coverage potential with 24-hour shifts. Competitive compensation with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing. Must hold a medical degree and be board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology; direct supervision of residents is expected. Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or DO degree
- Board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist or equivalent
- Licensed to practice obstetrics/gynecology in Indiana
- Ability to manage high-risk obstetrics and labor/delivery
- Experience supervising residents
- Ability to cover 24-hour shifts (7am-7am) and 3-5 shifts per month
