Job Summary
Locum radiologist needed for a Florida-based facility with telehealth opportunity. Cover 7 days a week from 5pm to 7am with split shift options; typical case load 80-120 cases 5pm-12am and 20-50 overnight. Case mix includes CT, US, MR, NM, and X-ray with ER stroke and trauma coverage. Requires at least 15 workdays per month and 8 RVUs per hour or 8-10 cases per hour. Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses provided. Assignment details and time entry managed in an online portal. Weatherby Healthcare consults support throughout; Charter member of NALTO. Locations hint: Bakersfield, CA, US. Competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO in Radiology or equivalent board certification in radiology
- Licensure to practice radiology in Florida or willingness to obtain
- Board certification in Radiology
- Experience with radiology imaging modalities (CT, US, MR, NM, X-ray) and emergent ER coverage preferred
