Job Summary
Locums obstetrics gynecologist needed in Elk Grove, CA. Responsibilities include OB delivery with C-sections, GYN emergencies, 12-hour night shifts with heavy patient load (10-25 patients per shift), GYN ED calls (3-5 per shift), 0-2 GYN surgeries per shift, and OB call coverage. Optional travel housing support provided; competitive hourly pay ranging from $150 to $225 with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel/housing. Assignment managed through Weatherby Healthcare with online time-entry portal; charter member of NALTO. 24-hour consultant support.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO with obstetrics and gynecology specialty
- board certification in obstetrics and gynecology (preferred)
- current medical license to practice in California
- pain and malpractice coverage as applicable to locum tenens assignments
