Job Summary
Provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage at a stroke-certified hospital in California, managing variable patient loads across adult, pediatric, and neonate populations. Perform general, laparoscopic, and OB/GYN surgeries including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernioplasties, C-sections, and hysterectomies, alongside GI endoscopy procedures such as colonoscopies. Requires general surgery skills for trauma and pediatric cases. Assignment details and time entry are completed via an online portal. Paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel, and housing are included with competitive hourly compensation ranging from $250 to $300. 24-hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant is available for support.
