Job Summary
Provide 6 am to 6 am shift coverage in a California hospital setting with daily newborn inpatient census ranging from 0 to 6. Manage admissions of 0 to 2 per day while performing intubation, IV starts, lumbar punctures, non-invasive ventilation, and UVC procedures. Maintain NRP and PALS certification and board certification status for all assignments. Schedule includes a 24-hour call out of house with a minimum of 7 shifts per month. Rates range from $125 to $150 hourly, with weekly deposits, complimentary housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage provided by CompHealth.
