Job Summary
Locum tenens Psychiatrist needed for outpatient clinic rotations at two locations. Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm with no start/end-time exceptions. Typical day includes 8–12 patients across ages 6–75 (70% children, 30% adults) with 90-minute new evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups in an outpatient setting. Hospital privileges required. Support staff assists during busy periods. CompHealth handles credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage; online portal provides assignment details and time entry. Competitive hourly pay ($185–$220) with all-inclusive earnings; weekly deposits. Recruiter support for the duration of the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible in psychiatry
- valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the U.S.
- hospital privileges or ability to obtain privileges
- outpatient clinic experience
- experience with pediatric and adult patients preferred
