Job Summary
CA locum-tenens anesthesia assignment: 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday, 100% general anesthesia for interventional radiology procedures. No trauma or OB cases. Ongoing 2 weeks per month schedule. Procedures include MRIs, CT scans, X-rays. Hospital privileges required. No on-call responsibilities. Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing. Assignment details and time entry managed via online portal. All-inclusive hourly rates range from $300 to $400. Weatherby consultant support and experience with locum tenens assignments provided.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO in anesthesia
- board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology
- medical license to practice in California
- hospital privileges or ability to obtain hospital privileges
- full and unrestricted license in California
- ability to provide 100% general anesthesia for interventional radiology procedures
- availability for 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday schedule
- no call requirements for the assignment
