A/C & Refrigeration Technician

A/C & Refrigeration Technician responsible for responding and attending to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues, performing preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment, inspecting tools and equipment, operating shut-off valves and building utility shut-offs, maintaining maintenance inventory, and reporting activities and problems to other shifts. Must display knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, and related areas; perform surface preparation, painting, drywall and trim repairs, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and thorough cleanup of work areas. Use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance, perform interior/exterior landscaping repairs, and demonstrate basic computer skills for inputting schedules and adjusting temperatures. Follow safety policies, report hazards, and support teamwork to meet goals while communicating professionally and assisting guests, including accessibility considerations. Move and lift up to 50 pounds, navigate stairs and ladders, and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
