Job Summary
Design and configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM and ITAM based on business needs. Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST and SOAP. Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes. Participate in the full implementation lifecycle from requirement gathering through deployment and post-implementation support. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation while providing training to end users. Assist with upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure platform stability. Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals. Submit resume, hourly rate, and certifications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be a CURRENT Wisconsin Resident
- Candidate must report on-site in Madison, WI 1-2 times per quarter
- ALL WORK – REMOTE INCLUDED – MUST BE DONE IN WISCONSIN
- Candidate must work CST business hours
- Candidate must provide their own equipment
- 6+ years - Fluency in various programming languages, such as JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, and Glide scripting and SQL
- 6+ years - ServiceNow development, such as scripting, workflows, and integrations
- 6+ years - Creating ServiceNow Business Rules, and UI Policies
- 6+ years - Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, ITAM, CSM, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, math, engineering, information systems, or a related field
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Understanding of development operations (DevOps)
- Understanding of software security
- Training in software engineering
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Proficiency with ServiceNow development, such as scripting, workflows, and integrations
- Proven ability to create ServiceNow Business Rules, and UI Policies
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) Implementation
- Experience with Flow Designer and Service Portal
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, ITAM, CSM, etc.)
- Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong sense of desire to deliver high-quality work products
- Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
