A-5 Sub Assembly

Conduct subassembly of components for hoist builds by following blueprints, specifications, and written or verbal instructions. Remove small metal quantities to clean parts, drill, tap, or ream holes, and align components with bolts, screws, or rivets. Install moving parts such as shafts, levers, or bearings to test free movement, and align and mesh gears in gearboxes. Perform work conforming to safety and environmental policies while rotating through electric or manual classifications as needed. Assist in training other personnel and execute other duties to assure optimum productivity within the plant.
