Job Summary
Teach 9th grade Geometry and deliver the curriculum with fidelity to state standards; develop and submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance; implement formal and informal assessments to monitor each student’s progress and adjust instruction; use technology effectively to support student achievement and communication; manage student behavior with a clear system aligned to campus initiatives; foster a positive classroom environment and a culture that supports college readiness; communicate student progress with families weekly; facilitate after-school tutoring or Saturday school as needed; participate in weekly manager check-ins, grade-level meetings, and school-wide activities; work 40+ hours per week at the campus; contribute to district and campus learning and development initiatives; collaborate with colleagues to support student outcomes and values-based schooling; support opportunities for dual enrollment or AP/IB coursework as applicable; Salary starts at $59,500 with potential stipends and additional compensation based on certifications and campus leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required)
- State certification preferred but not required
