Job Summary

The 988 Call Center Supervisor (Coach) oversees Crisis Services staff, providing supervision, performance management, and professional development. Responsibilities include onboarding and retention, delivering individual and group supervision, ongoing coaching, annual performance evaluations, and ensuring policy compliance. Supports staff growth through community of practice and weekly case staffing groups, promotes staff wellness, collaborates with program leadership on workflow improvements and quality initiatives, and maintains 3 hours of direct service engagement per week. The role operates in a hybrid schedule with up to 24 hours on-site in Oakton, VA, and requires strong crisis intervention knowledge, risk assessment, de-escalation techniques, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • minimum of 1-year direct supervisory experience in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, or behavioral health (substitution: 2-3 years direct supervisory experience can substitute for the bachelor's degree)
