Job Summary
Director of Business Development for hospice provider in New England. Responsible for developing and executing market growth strategies to increase hospice admissions, build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, SNFs, senior living communities, physician groups, and case managers, and identify new partnership opportunities within the assigned territory. Lead and mentor the business development team, collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to ensure excellent customer service and referral-source satisfaction, monitor market trends and competitor activity, track sales activity and key performance metrics, participate in community outreach and industry events, and travel throughout the market to drive census growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Healthcare business development experience
- Prior hospice business development experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading or mentoring sales and business development professionals
- Demonstrated success growing census and referral relationships
- Strong understanding of the post-acute care continuum
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze market data and develop growth strategies
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the market
