Job Summary
Greet all guests with warmth, professionalism, and the genuine Hotel Drover spirit of hospitality; proactively acknowledge guest needs and assist by opening doors or offering support. Manage reservations, accurately record guest information, and ensure fair and efficient seating of guests. Guide guests to tables, provide menus, and ensure place settings are clean, complete, and guest-ready. Assist with bussing, resetting tables, refilling beverages, and maintaining podium and host stand cleanliness as needed. Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about the restaurant and hotel. Check menus for cleanliness and accuracy, maintain seating charts, and assist with group seating arrangements. Partner with the Large Party Coordinator to coordinate group reservations, confirm event details, and execute Restaurant Event Order with precision and hospitality. Remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, effectively handling guest concerns and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor. Act as an ambassador of Hotel Drover's brand, values, and culture in all guest and team interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with guests and team members
- Flexible schedule — must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically

Desired Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience in a full-service restaurant or luxury hospitality environment
- Familiarity with reservation management systems (OpenTable experience preferred)
- Detail-oriented with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Strong knowledge of the City of Fort Worth and other parts of the DFW metropolitan area
