Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day hospice operations and ensure high-quality patient care; drive operational performance, financial stability, and strategic growth; ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards; lead and mentor clinical and administrative staff; monitor staffing, service utilization, and interdisciplinary care coordination; manage conflict resolution, complaint handling, and patient satisfaction initiatives; collaborate with vendors and corporate leadership to optimize services; ensure staff remain current with hospice regulations and industry trends; maintain ethical business and clinical practices across all operations; provide regular operational and performance reporting to the Governing Body.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of healthcare leadership or hospice management experience
- Strong understanding of Medicare Hospice Certification and hospice regulations
- Proven ability to lead and develop clinical and administrative teams
- Experience managing operational budgets and performance metrics
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of healthcare leadership or hospice management experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Strong understanding of Medicare Hospice Certification and hospice regulations
- Proven ability to lead and develop clinical and administrative teams
- Experience managing operational budgets and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
