Area Vice President of Business Development for Hospice: lead sales strategy and census growth across three Iowa hospice branches (Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport). Manage and coach a team of 6–8 marketers/liaisons, develop regional growth plans, analyze market share and referral patterns, and build relationships with hospitals, SNFs, case managers, and physician groups. Role emphasizes strategic go-to-market decisions, collaboration with branch leadership and clinical teams, CRM-driven analytics, and active participation in local healthcare events and networking. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare-related services.
- History of leading multi-site business development teams and achieving referral/census targets.
- Strong command of hospice eligibility, referral dynamics, and CMS compliance standards.
- Proficient in CRM reporting, growth analytics, and competitive market strategy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and coaching skills with a focus on accountability and results.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the three Iowa branches.
