Job Summary
Set up and take down promotional displays, ensuring shelf tags are labeled correctly and refrigerators remain neat with visible items. Replenish shelves by unloading deliveries, arranging stockrooms, and rotating products using the First-In First-Out method while managing expiration dates and dumping expired goods. Maintain clean aisles, clear debris, and follow food safety policies to keep logs accurate. Assist customers in locating products and conduct inventory counts with team members. Perform duties including cleaning coolers and freezers, standing for long periods, and lifting items up to 30 lbs. Available for rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays; a Food Handling Card is required.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules
- Having or willing to obtain a Food Handling Card
- Ability to communicate effectively to customers and team members
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and other company policies
- Proper training and knowledge of equipment operation required
- Standing in place for a long period of time
- Bending to pick up items
- Kneeling regularly
- Lifting items weighing 30 lbs or more with appropriate equipment
- Able to work occasionally with environment temperatures ranging from 32o to 50 oF
Desired Qualifications
- Previous stocking experience is preferred
- Knowledge of general grocery product lines or similar experience
