Job Summary
Set up and take down promotional displays, ensure shelf tags are correct, and keep refrigerators neat with visible items. Maintain clean aisles, remove debris, and handle expired or recalled products properly while rotating stock using the First-In First-Out method. Replenish shelves, unload deliveries, and assist customers in locating products. Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate logs adhering to food safety and health regulations. Perform other duties as needed for business operations. Available for weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Available to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules
- Having or willing to obtain a Food Handling Card
- Ability to communicate effectively to customers and team members
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and other company policies
- Proper training and knowledge of equipment operation required
- Standing in place for a long period of time
- Bending to pick up items
- Kneeling regularly
- Lifting items weighing 30 lbs or more with appropriate equipment
- Able to work occasionally with environment temperatures ranging from 32o to 50 oF
Desired Qualifications
- Previous stocking experience is preferred
- Knowledge of general grocery product lines or similar experience
