Job Summary
911 Emergency Dispatcher in Cumberland County, ME handles emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatches the appropriate fire, EMS, or law enforcement responses from Windham, ME. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, computer proficiency, and excellent communication skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure, plus knowledge of local geographic layouts. Selected candidates must complete the terminal operator control course and CPR/EMD training within one year, pass a background check and polygraph, and succeed on the CritiCall exam. This is a full-time position with benefits and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
