Job Summary
Paraprofessional Special Education role at Tempe Union High School District: assists and supports teachers and administrators to provide educational assistance to students in a high school setting. Requires supporting students directly, with preferred experience in a high school instructional environment. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be Highly Qualified via one of: a paraprofessional test with passing score, 60 college credits, or an Associate's degree or higher. CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications are required (provided by the district). This is a 9-month term, 35 hours per week, FTE full-time position at McClintock High School. Required Qualifications

- One of the following items for Paraprofessional Highly Qualified: Passing score on an approved paraprofessional test OR 60 college credit hours OR Associate's degree or higher on official transcripts
- Valid CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Intervention certification (if applicable)
