9-12th Grade Social Studies Teacher responsible for delivering instruction aligned with district and state standards. Duties include planning and delivering a program of study, creating a conducive classroom environment, guiding learning toward curriculum goals, establishing clear lesson objectives, employing appropriate instructional methods, assessing student progress, communicating with colleagues, students, and parents, assisting with classroom rules and procedures, supervising teacher assistants, maintaining professional competence, and participating in staff activities. Ten-month, Exempt position with salary based on state scales. Proficiency in clear communication, computer skills (Microsoft Office), and ability to manage classroom behavior and safety are required.
