Job Summary
Online K-12 teaching role serving as teacher of record for core content in an online academy. Deliver live lessons via web conference, monitor student progress in asynchronous courses, differentiate instruction, create and deliver Progress Reports with the Principal, and integrate 21st-century technology skills. Role requires travel to support in-person state testing annually and attendance at student events; licensed Ohio teacher with ability to supervise students and communicate with families. Positions available as 0.5 FTE EL Coordinator and 0.5 FTE EL Teacher; remote instruction predominates with periodic face-to-face requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
- Preferred two years’ experience teaching
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
- Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually
