Job Summary
Plan a program of study and instruction for grades 9-12 in Spanish, create and modify instructional plans and materials to meet diverse student needs, monitor and evaluate student outcomes, and communicate with students, parents, staff and the community. Maintain records, supervise students and teaching assistants as assigned, and ensure safety and order in classroom settings. Deliver instruction aligned with ABSS curriculum and NC DPI standards; integrate technology into the curriculum; collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and the community; and participate in school management and policy implementation as required by the principal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in an applicable field for applicable level(s)
- Must hold a valid Teacher’s License issued by the state of NC in applicable field and for level assigned
- National Board Certification is preferred
- Demonstrated Spanish speaking ability
