Job Summary
Plan and provide instruction for 9-12 Spanish, using ABSS curriculum; develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet diverse student needs; monitor and evaluate student outcomes; supervise students in various settings; maintain records; communicate with students, parents, staff, and the community; integrate technology; collaborate with administrators and colleagues; ensure safety and order, and administer standardized assessments in alignment with ABSS policies and applicable codes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in an applicable field for applicable level(s)
- Must hold a valid Teacher’s License issued by the state of NC in applicable field and for level assigned
- Must not be on the NCDPI list of teachers no longer qualified to teach and/or must not be currently engaged in a certification revocation hearing process
- Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the NC Department of Motor Vehicles
- National Board Certification (preferred)
- Demonstrated record of Highly Qualified status on evaluations (preferred)
- Spanish Speaking (preferred)
