Job Summary
Teach secondary science with a focus on 9th-12th grade General Science and Chemistry; implement adopted and supplemental academic programs; integrate 21st Century technology skills; plan and implement a collaborative model with special education students and teachers; may coordinate designated co-curricular activities and field trips; be accountable for individual student achievement and personalized learning; maintain effective classroom management and communication with students, parents, and peers; perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Valid teaching certificate licensing the individual to teach in the specializations and grade levels
- Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code
- Meet the qualifications outlined in WV Code 18A-3-2a
