Job Summary
Plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for K-12 students; create and implement instructional plans and materials; supervise students in school-related settings; monitor and evaluate student outcomes; communicate with students, parents, staff and community; maintain records and follow procedures; ensure safety of students and facilities; utilize ABSS curriculum and integrate technology; promote inclusive and engaging learning environments; establish clear objectives and align instruction with curriculum goals; collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and volunteers; manage classroom discipline and behavior; provide availability to students and parents outside instructional time as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in an applicable field for applicable level(s)
- Must hold a valid Teacher’s License issued by the state of NC in applicable field and for level assigned
- Must not be on the NCDPI list of teachers no longer qualified to teach and/or must not be currently engaged in a certification revocation hearing process
- Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the NC Department of Motor Vehicles
