8th Grade Math Teacher SY 26-27

Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to 8th grade students; plan and implement lessons aligned with state standards; teach Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and/or Calculus (as assigned); differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners; assess and monitor student progress using varied methods; maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance; establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom; communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff; participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school initiatives; support school policies, procedures, and student discipline expectations. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education, and a valid state teaching license in Mathematics (or ability to obtain). Preferred qualifications include experience teaching secondary math and familiarity with data-driven instruction and educational technology.
