8th Grade Girls Basketball Assistant Coach - Xavier Middle School

Coach all scheduled games and lead every practice for the 8th grade girls basketball team, establishing fundamental skills, techniques, and a philosophy focused on teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Direct staff development through meetings and clinics, delegate specific duties, and analyze staff effectiveness at season's end. Enforce all student eligibility criteria, apply and enforce student discipline during contests, and ensure adherence to district, conference, and state association rules and regulations. Monitor equipment inventory, coordinate competition arrangements with the Activities Department, and promote the athletic program to increase interest and participation. Respond to emergency situations, uphold safety rules, and collaborate with administration, cheerleaders, and boosters to enhance sportsmanship. Perform these duties while maintaining background clearance and adhering to the Xavier Catholic Schools safety program and professional code of ethics.
