Job Summary
8th Grade ELA Teacher for IDEA College Prep (Midland, TX). Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula, master and deliver grade-level content and texts, submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance, implement formal and informal assessments, track student progress, communicate progress weekly with students and families, maintain a clear behavior-management system aligned to campus initiatives, foster a positive learning environment, and participate in weekly staff meetings and after-school duties. Role includes after-school tutoring or Saturday school as needed; 40+ hours on-site weekly; comprehensive benefits and potential relocation allowance. Qualifications emphasize content-area proficiency and a Bachelors Degree; state certification preferred but not required. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to helping students succeed in college are valued.
Required Qualifications
