Job Summary
Lead head coach for 8th grade boys basketball at Warsaw area schools. Responsibilities include organizing and directing the coaching staff, coordinating the program with the Varsity program, conducting pre-season meetings, communicating rules and guidelines to parents, running organized practices, preparing for home contests, tracking rosters and eligibility, inventorying equipment, evaluating assistant coaches, and organizing an awards program. Requires experience coaching at high school or college level and a valid Indiana teaching license is preferred. Collaborates with the athletic director and adheres to school and athletic department policies. Position involves after-school/evening commitments and seasonal contract structure.
Required Qualifications
- High School and/or collegiate playing experience in one or more sports
- Indiana teaching license (Desired)
- Successful coaching experience in high school or college, preferably as a head coach
