Job Summary
Coach individual participants in skill areas and lead strategy meetings as assigned by the head coach. Keep abreast of new techniques and rules, while managing equipment issues, returns, and facility preparations. Carry out clerical duties and supervise training sessions, adhering to established policies to support the total sport program growth. Maintain ethical practices and serve as a role model for students.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a valid coaching authorization or the credentials of a certified teacher with an endorsement for coaching
- Must exhibit ethical practices, and be a role model to students
- Keep abreast of new ideas and techniques in the sports field assigned
- Be knowledgeable of rules and regulations plus changes that occur
