Job Summary
Supervise team conduct, manage instruction, and coach conditioning for the 8th Grade A-Team Basketball program. Ensure appropriate behavior during practices, contests, and transportation while maintaining accurate eligibility records and reporting violations to the Athletic Director. Foster sportsmanship and positive public relations by modeling respect for opponents, officials, and spectators. Provide knowledge, motivation, and leadership to help students excel physically, morally, and socially. Maintain a professional manner at all times and support district policies and established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to work with students, coaches, administrators and parents
- One year experience coaching specific sport or participation in a college or high school program specific to that sport
- Multiple years playing at Varsity or College level
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Concussion certification
- Cardiac arrest certification
- Ability to work with students, administrators and parents
- Experience coaching specific sport

- Playing at Varsity or College level
