Job Summary
Data Engineer / BI Developer to design and implement data pipelines, migrate legacy ETL workloads to Microsoft Fabric/Azure Data Factory, and build scalable reporting/analytics on the Microsoft data platform. Responsibilities include writing complex T-SQL, building Power BI reports, migrating SSIS packages to cloud-native ETL/ELT solutions, designing ETL/ELT pipelines with Fabric/Azure services, developing data models (star/snowflake) in Synapse/Fabric, and collaborating with client stakeholders. Proficiency in Power BI, Azure data services (Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, SQL Database, Synapse), SQL-based data transformations, and experience in Agile/Scrum environments are required. Nice-to-have skills include Salesforce integrations, Python/PySpark, Azure ML, and relevant Microsoft certifications (DP-700, PL-300, DP-203). The role involves architecture input, performance tuning, data quality monitoring, and clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Remote work option available with Buenos Aires, Argentina as the local placement.
