Job Summary
Performs imaging services across Diagnostic Radiology with rotations in Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, Operating Room, Endoscopy, and Orthopedics to generate diagnostically useful images. Produces high-quality images by selecting appropriate exposure factors based on patient size and condition while minimizing radiation exposure. Maintains anatomy, physiology, and pathology knowledge related to imaging, assesses patient needs, prepares contrast agents and sterile materials, educates patients about procedures, and promotes teamwork with staff. Adheres to ARRT Code of Ethics and department policies, reports equipment issues promptly, completes required in-services and competencies, and assists with patient positioning and workflow coordination. Schedule: 40 hours, Day shift; Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt.
Required Qualifications
- Current Radiography license as required by state board (MD, OH, PA no state licensure for PA, WV Radiography License)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
- State criminal background check and Federal checks as applicable
