Job Summary
Manage the department's daily operation, including SOP adherence, product knowledge, planning, ordering, and employee supervision. Maintain product display and freshness, control inventory movement using FIFO, and coordinate with vendors to meet sales targets. Provide schedules to department employees, handle human capital management through coaching and training, and ensure a safe, clean workplace. Conduct poultry shipment examinations and direct physical inventory counts. This 6 to 8-month training period includes evaluations followed by direct assignment to a store. Candidates must work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential relocation and travel between stores.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in related fields
- 1 year of management/supervisor experience
- Work in an environment with varying temperature and use equipment
- Require lifting 25+ lbs objects and long periods of standing
- Must be able to work at a flexible schedule (night, weekends & holidays)
- Must be able to relocate if necessary
- Must be able to travel between different stores for training purposes
- Capable of reading, analyzing, interpreting technical procedures and training materials
- Able to speak, write, present, commute, and respond to information and questions
- Great interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume
- Commit to company values and customer services
- Bilingual English, Chinese, and Spanish
- Authorized to work in the United States
- At least 18 years old
- Weekend & Holiday required
- 6 days a week
- Overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with inventory management programs, Microsoft Office, IT retail, or SAP
- Familiar with local vendors and popular local products
- Use label updating and price sign printing computer programs efficiently
