871 - NDT Technicians- Multiple TAR Locations

Job Summary
Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) operations including Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Ultrasonic Thickness, and Radiographic Testing in industrial refinery environments during a September–October Turnaround. Set up and calibrate equipment, interpret test results against applicable codes, and maintain documentation while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist certified technicians by preparing test areas and performing basic inspections under supervision. This role requires valid MT/PT/UTT certifications and state carded RT credentials, with a focus on weld-quality profile RT and digital radiography systems. Candidates must be capable of working in confined spaces, at heights, and in diverse weather conditions while lifting heavy objects. Apply through the careers page for immediate consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MT/PT certifications (Level I or II depending on role)
- ASNT ISQ UTT Certification required for UTT roles
- State carded RT credentials
- Strong understanding of refinery safety and inspection environments
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a nested refinery setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Current IRRSP Card or State Card required for Radiographers
- SNT Level II certification in RT required for Radiographers
- Must provide proof of classroom training hours in RT
- Must have 40 hours of Radiation Safety Training
- Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions
- Capable of training assistant radiographers
- Valid Driver's License

- Pre-employment background checks
- Ability to lift, move and carry objects weighing 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing tanks, ladders, scaffolding, towers, piping systems, catwalks, structural steel, and wind turbines
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various environments including from heights and confined spaces

Desired Qualifications
- Weld-quality and profile RT experience
- Experience with digital radiography (DR) systems
- SNT certifications in MT/PT/UTT/PMI
- Current SPRAT and/or IRATA Rope Access certification
- SNT Level II certification in RT (asset)
- Weld-quality profile RT Techs with state cards and digital radiography experience
