Job Summary
Prepare raw materials, form, cut, and bake dough while following receipts and mixing instructions. Unload deliveries, stock shelves using the FIFO method, and manage expiration dates to ensure product freshness. Handle customer requests by wrapping items, answering questions, and providing product samples. Perform cashier duties, maintain safe working environments, and coordinate with the Maintenance Department for cleanliness. Monitor department assets for loss prevention and properly dispose of expired or recalled products under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Working knowledge of the baking process
- Good customer service skills
- Good time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team
- Standing for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity for the use of processing equipment such as cutter or labeling
- Ability to lift 30 lbs or more with appropriate equipment
