Job Summary
Teach Mathematics to 8-12 graders at UT Tyler University Academy in Palestine/Tyler, TX, delivering instruction through project-based learning and online modalities. Collaborate with a Campus Director, University Academy Central Office Administrators, Professional Development Specialists, and university faculty. Participate in graduate-level work; teachers not holding a master's degree will be enrolled in a program as part of the compensation package. The position is a 9-month university appointment predicated on performance and school operations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (or currently pursuing a master's degree)
- 9-month university appointment
- Experience with project-based learning (PBL) and STEM-focused instruction
- Ability to provide instruction both face-to-face and online
- Willingness to participate in graduate-level work and enroll in a master's program as part of compensation package
