7th Grade Reading teacher responsible for delivering qualified instruction in reading, developing and implementing lesson plans aligned to district curriculum, and using varied instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs. Collaborates with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, uses technology to enhance teaching and learning, assesses student progress through formal and informal methods, and plans engaging activities to foster growth in reading and literacy. Maintains classroom management and a productive learning environment, communicates effectively with parents and colleagues, participates in professional development, and supports campus programs and extracurricular activities as assigned. Adheres to district policies and TEA guidelines, keeps required records, and contributes to a positive school culture aimed at helping students achieve their potential.
