Job Summary
7th Grade Math Teacher responsible for planning, organizing and presenting instruction and instructional environments to help students learn mathematics and achieve educational and social development. Duties include managing instructional time and student behavior, presenting lessons with clear objectives, monitoring student performance, providing timely feedback, facilitating instruction aligned with curricular goals, and collaborating with teacher assistants. Requires a degree in education (or related area) that qualifies for licensure by NC DPI. Strong classroom management, communication, and ability to utilize instructional materials and technology to support student learning are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
