Job Summary
Teach 7th grade math at PUC Schools to support underserved students in North-East Los Angeles, implementing California standards and developing engaging lesson plans. Establish a safe, nurturing classroom, organize procedures, manage behavior, and maintain student records and portfolios. Deliver regular parent communication, conduct parent conferences, and collaborate with the Inclusion Specialist to meet all students’ needs. Lead and participate in school-based teams and professional development, align teaching methods with school goals, and contribute to a culture of college preparation and community impact.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Preliminary or Clear Single Subject or Multiple Subject Credential OR University Internship Credential eligible (Intern eligibility letter required) OR Qualification for a permit if the applicant does not possess a credential is required.
