7th Grade Girls Basketball Head Coach - Xavier Catholic Schools

Coach all scheduled games and lead every practice for the 7th grade girls basketball team, establishing fundamental skills, techniques, and a philosophy focused on teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Direct and supervise assistant coaches, delegate specific duties, and analyze staff effectiveness at season's end while ensuring adherence to district, conference, and state association rules. Enforce student eligibility criteria, monitor discipline during contests, and coordinate with administration, cheerleaders, and feeder schools to promote program interest and unity. Maintain inventory of uniforms and equipment, establish annual performance goals, and respond to emergency situations to ensure athlete safety and facility protection. This temporary exempt position requires a valid coaching license through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners and involves significant physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting in varying temperatures.
