7th Grade ELA Teacher

Plan and deliver 7th Grade ELA instruction aligned to state and parish curriculum standards, utilizing varied teaching materials to address individual learner differences. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior while providing timely feedback and grading assignments to monitor student progress. Coordinate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for special education students, attend IEP meetings, and serve as primary contact for parents regarding assigned students. Collaborate regularly with instructional staff, departmental teachers, and community resources to improve student outcomes, while fulfilling duties related to co-curricular activities, athletic events, and school board meetings.
