Job Summary
Head Coach for 7th Grade Boys Basketball in Warsaw, IN. Responsible for organizing and directing the program, coordinating coaching staff, holding pre-season meetings with prospective athletes, planning and running organized practices, preparing for home contests, tracking rosters and athlete eligibility, inventorying equipment, evaluating assistant coaches, and ensuring compliance with the Lakeview Middle School and Warsaw Community School Corporation rules. The role requires effective communication with parents, attendance at athletic department and coaching staff meetings, and oversight of awards programs at season’s end. Experience at the high school or college level is preferred, with Indiana teaching license desired. This is an after-school/evening, part-time coaching position during the season.
Required Qualifications
- Successful coaching experience in high school or college (preferred)
- Indiana teaching license (desired)
- High School and/or collegiate playing experience in one or more sports
