7th Grade Boys Basketball Assistant Coach - Xavier Middle School

Coach all scheduled games and lead every practice, establishing fundamental skills, techniques, and a philosophy of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship for student-athletes. Direct staff development through meetings and clinics, delegate specific duties, and analyze staff effectiveness at season's end. Enforce student eligibility criteria, monitor discipline during contests, and ensure adherence to injury prevention procedures, district policies, and the Professional Code of Ethics. Collaborate with administration, cheerleaders, and booster clubs to enhance program interest and promote unity with feeder schools. Maintain inventory of uniforms and equipment, establish annual performance goals, and respond to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concerns.
