Job Summary
Extracurricular coach for 7th grade boys basketball in Jt. Jerome School District #261. Responsibilities include supervising the team at practices and contests, being present from start to finish, teaching good sportsmanship, maintaining eligibility records, reporting violations to the Athletic Director, and promoting a positive image of school athletics. Public relations duties involve modeling professional conduct with players, coaches, administrators, and parents. Professional growth through classes and workshops and collaboration with district administration is expected. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to work with students and families, one year of coaching experience or relevant participation at varsity/college level, and CPR/First Aid, concussion, and cardiac-arrest certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to work with students, administrators and parents
- One year experience coaching specific sport or participation in a college or high school program specific to that sport, and multiple years playing at Varsity or College level
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, concussion certification, and cardiac arrest certification.
